I recently went to a workshop by Hannah Lamb, member of the famous 62 Group of master embroiderers and generally fabulous textile peeps. We played with cyanotype, an early form of photographic exposure, which works just as well on textiles as it does on paper. The images are always blue, and I love their slightly haunting and beautiful simplicity and elegance. Here are my first-time adventures in cyanotype…
