I’ll admit it. I have a thing for cushions. They’re just the thing to liven up a sofa and splash some colour around without going mad. I love making them too. Here are a few of my recent makes. Subtle and sumptuous green and duck egg blue silks. Pretty fabulous!

Cutie Pampootie Hooties – crocheted owl keyrings
Say Hello to two Cutie Hooties. These little owls will be winging their way Down Under – a commission for two little girls in Australia. Another fun crochet project, and a variation on this pattern from Ravelry. Check it out. Hope Rachel and Jenny like them…

Behold, the Pampootie ipad cover! Having heard from lots of ipad owners about their ideal cover, I joined forces with a Pampootie customer, and we designed one together! Our usual Pampootie soft wool fabrics combine with quirky linings and buttons to bring you a pretty, practical and downright gorgeous Pampootie ipad cover. Cunningly designed to snugly fit your ipad, with or without a folding Smart Cover. Is this the best ipad cover ever? We think so!

It’s all very exciting here at Pampootie Towers. Pampootie products are now on sale at the fabulous Formality design shop in Dublin, just in time for Christmas too. Mini hot water bottles, flower peg kits and flower tape measures are all selling like hot cakes! Very exciting, I’m thrilled that Pampootie is so popular with Formality customers. Thank you to the lovely Karl and Patrick…

A happy retirement cake for my Uncle Pat who finished work recently. Lots of fun making this – slightly complicated to work out all the details, but I’m really happy with how it worked out. Fancy a slice, anyone?

Here’s a pretty shawl I knitted for my Mum. It has gorgeous cascading ruffles, so you can wear it several ways. If you fancy knitting one yourself, check out the free pattern here. It’s very easy, knits up quickly so you’ll soon have a beautiful flouncy shawl of your very own.

So here’s a peek at my stall from last week’s Christmas Market at the Ropewalk! Wonderful day, with tons of friendly visitors and lots of lovely comments about my Pampootie makes. Mini hot water bottles were snapped up, heart and star decorations were bought, and loads of interest in everything else, including my new flower kits….more about them in the New Year, when I launch my online store!

A little beaded crochet bag I designed for my friend Jo as a gift. It’s lined with vintage silk kimono fabric bought in Japan.
